| Introduction |
| Established in 1995, COSCO (Hong Kong) Insurance Brokers Limited ("HK COSCO Insurance Brokers"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of COSCO International, is engaged in the provision of marine and non-marine insurance brokerage services. With a view to further expanding its insurance brokerage services in Mainland China, COSCO International established Shenzhen COSCO Insurance Brokers Limited ("SZ COSCO Insurance Brokers") in December 2005. SZ COSCO Insurance Brokers provides insurance brokerage services for those vessels registered in China Mainland. It complements the edges and resources in Hong Kong and Mainland China and provides high quality services to its customers.
Apart from providing intermediary brokerage services for shipping companies of COSCO Group, HK COSCO Insurance Brokers is expanding its services to cover non-COSCO Group shipping companies in Hong Kong and China Mainland.
