COSCO (Beijing) Enterprises Co., Ltd. was established in December 1992 as a directly owned subsidiary of COSCO headquarters. On the decision of COSCO headquarters, the ownership of the company was transferred to COSCO Hong Kong and it became a wholly owned subsidiary of COSCO Hong Kong in May 2005.
Currently the main business of COSCO (Beijing) Enterprises Co., Ltd. includes property management, catering service, seamen service, automobile sales, automobile maintenance and repairs, and car rental services. COSCO (Beijing) Enterprises Co., Ltd. has six separate business divisions, controls and manages two companies: Beijing COSCO TOYOTA Automobile Sales & Service Co., Ltd., and COSCO-DCH (Beijing) Motor Leasing Co., Ltd.
