On 14th January 2010, President Wang Futian and Executive Vice-President Chen Hongsheng met with Mr. Kenneth Koo, Chairman of Hong Kong Shipowners Association and Chairman of Tai Chong Cheang Steamship Co. (HK) Ltd. They exchanged their opinions on strengthening the functions of Hong Kong Shipowners Association, and also discussed issues relating to the development of shipping industry in Hong Kong, and prevention measures against piracy of ships, etc.
