In January 2010, under the instruction and leadership of COSCO Group, COSCO Hong Kong made every effort to catch market opportunities as the economic environment is recovering from the global financial turmoil. COSCO Hong Kong achieved a better performance in January with a 13.7% profit growth when compared to the same month in 2009, which has made a good starting for COSCO Hong Kong in 2010.

At the beginning of 2010, the top management of COSCO Hong Kong emphasized repeatedly at all meetings that concrete measures should be taken from the first day of 2010 to reach the profit target. With the aim of “Making better performance than 2009”, all subsidiaries of COSCO Hong Kong were racing with time. They took various measures and focused on how to accurately seize valuable marketing chances, market research, customer needs analysis and cost savings in order to expand their market shares and to improve the quality of products and service.
