On March 1st, 2010, Capt. Wei Jiafu, President and CEO of COSCO Group, attended the COSCO Hong Kong Spring Dinner 2010 during his business trip to Hong Kong. Over 300 guests and business partners shared the special evening with 1000 staff of COSCO Hong Kong.

President Wei Jiafu of COSCO Group delivered an important speech. He expressed his appreciation for the support given by COSCO business partners and complimented the staff of COSCO Hong Kong for their hard work in obtaining important achievements in 2009. He inspired the staff of COSCO Hong Kong to enhance confidence, overcome difficulties and play a key role in achieving profits. He expects COSCO Hong Kong to submit even better results to COSCO Group in 2010.

Ms. Guo Li, Deputy Director of Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in HKSAR, Mr. Zhan Yongxin, Acting Commissioner of Commissioner's Office of China’s Foreign Ministry in HKSAR, and Mr. Li Yunpeng, Director of Party Disciplinary Inspection Office of COSCO Group, took part in the event. Mr. Wang Futian, President of COSCO Hong Kong expressed warm welcome to the leaders and guests in his speech. Mr. Chen Hongsheng, Executive Vice-President of COSCO Hong Kong, proposed the traditional Chinese New Year good wishes to leaders, guests and staff.

The Spring Dinner 2010 was filled with a joyful and harmonious atmosphere from the beginning to the end. The performances during the dinner were brilliant and reflected the corporate culture of COSCO Hong Kong. The atmosphere at the spring dinner was pushed to culmination by the magic show performed by Capt. Wei Jiafu. The evening was definitely a successful event for COSCO Hong Kong.
